On day 5, it was possible to start the arming of the wall from the early hours thanks to the bivouac that I made on a small ledge with the material left me by Kaleb. At around 5pm, after about 10 hours without stopping we arrived at the cave.

The surprise to find a place tight and uncomfortable for a bivouac has further motivated the group to reach the river. Vittorio after about 4 hours of work allowed us to spend a night at the base camp with hot food and a glass of rum (15 hours total). The next day the cave was reached by the river to accommodate the nails unsafe and to check the conditions by organizing the work for the day 7. Immediately me and Kaleb have disarmed ascending from the cave until the initial attack (about 6 hours) while 5 person liberated the resurgence from roots and deposits of calcite.

The disarming from the cave to the river was performed on day 8 by Tono and Tullio in about 3 hours. In total, about 30 hours of arming, 800m of rope, 77 steel nails (Full Time and Wings with fix inox da 10 mm, all thanks to the company Raumer), were used drills De Walt (remarkable that for everything where used only three batteries!).

The material dropped will be used for future inspections of the cave and of the concreted structure of the Arbol de Navidad.
