Now we are four at the base of the jump, and we communicate with difficulties because of the loud noise that covers everything. Another short traverse away from the waterfall and we approach the second jump, where even the mighty water blocks the passage. Around us only concretions rounded and thick, traces of flooding and water. Thanks to a natural anchorage we find a passage downward which seems to by-pass the pit, falls between the concretions with a trickle of water that accompanies the descent and completely soaked us bringing us to the base.
A few more meters and a new barrier of water that falls from above prevents us from continuing. It seems impossible to go through with all this water slamming against the wall in front of us. We go back over looking around in search of a passage, a traverse that allows us to bypass even this waterfall. But not now. Maybe another time. Now we have the lift and a long walk up to Phinton.
