February 2. Transfer to the north to reach the area of exploration. Final destination of our journey today is Pin Laung, Shan state. It seems that we'll be in the village, guests of a monastery. We will be welcome strangers in places generally inaccessible.
We have the permissions to stay there for ten days and to explore a sinkhole whose waters, after about 6 km in linear distance and 600 meters in altitude, re-emerge from the large sources of Namum. Everything will take place "step by step", as Joerg says, the german organizer of the expedition. We do not know when and how often we can send news.
