This perspective saddens us very much.
We salute the monk who kindly hosted us in these days.
We take some pictures and we promise to return to find him next year in the new monastery in construction on the hill.
February 8. Back to Pinglaung. On the way back from Leili we are fortunate to encounter a local that leads us to the discovery of new caves. The most interesting is a resurgence not far from the road to Pinglaung. A first visit allowed us to assess the potential that seems to promise much, even considering the outflow, which we estimate at 1 mc/s.
In the next days a part of the team will be based in Pinglaung for exploring this resurgence, the other will move in the village of Phinton with the aim of reaching and descend the sinkhole Te Toke Taung.
Stay tuned for updates.
