The second group settled their camp at the ranchito, a classical base for the exploration in this zone. 6 people dedicated themselves to a new crossing of the "Cueva" with the aim to complete the photographic documentation and to make some ascents. Manuel, mate of many explorations, joined them, together with two guys from the colonies (Ugo and Fabiola), instructed directly by him, that are already part of the second wave of local speleologists. The ascent led to the discovery of 500 meters of new galleries. They were only stopped by the lack of materials and time, what a pity. And thanks to this new route it was found a convenient by-pass to the ascent in the salon of chaos. Meanwhile, the group of the ranchito explored 5 new caves that are part of the hydrogeological system of the "Cueva". In some cases also the archaeological discoveries were remarkable. We also started the repositioning work (and in some cases the control of the topography) of all the cavities explored in the 90s, when the GPS system was not so reliable. And, because of this "stubbornness" , new large galleries were explored in the Cueva Ejidal. Finally, in the Cueva de Naranjo, in addition to carrying out the analysis of the water, a spectacular diving led to the extension of the huge siphon which is the end to the branch "Cariolable". Nearly 400 meters long and 40 deep. And, after this all, a dark vertical pit that in the next days will be the goal of the divers with the use of mixtures.
